Single Fan View (SFV)
What is an SFV?
- A Single Fan View is an aggregation of data from multiple sources held by an organisation on an individual, it is intended to give the organisation an easy solution for visualising and actioning customer data.
- The SFV is created based on data from multiple sources (e.g. Ticketing, Retail, App usage etc.) that is combined using a single identifier.
- The SFV is not directly editable by the organisation, it is updated based on the source data changing.
Why Cortex's Single Fan View?
- Siloed data can be joined to provide a holistic view of a customer.
- Aggregated data fields for a customer provide quick to action insights.
- The Cortex SFV is configured to work with Audience Builder.
What data goes into the SFV?
- The Single Fan View will only contain customers that are identifiable and/or actionable. Actionable is defined as a customer who is contactable via any marketing channel (e.g. email, push, phone, post)
- It contains data from multiple sources (e.g. transactional, demographic, behavioural) which are agreed as part of the onboarding phase
- Cortex provides a number of 1st party client sources which are easily configured with the SCV e.g. SSO + contact preferences, forms and PCBs
- At the very least, the SFV user should have an identifier which can be used to market to somebody (e.g. an email address)
